Ingredients

chicken legs
For the Seasoning

tsp seasoning salt

tsp lemon pepper

tsp chili powder

tsp turbinado sugar

tsp black pepper
For the Habanero Lime Butter
1
stick unsalted butter
1-2
oz habanero sauce
1
tsp lime juice
1-2
pinches kosher salt
Directions

Preheat your grill to medium high (400-450°f).

French the chicken legs and season. Mix the dry rub ingredients together and evenly sprinkle it all over the drumstick meat.

Place drumsticks on the upper rack of your grill and cook with the grill lid closed for 15 minutes. Flip the legs and cook another 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the sauce. Place the butter, habanero sauce, lime juice, and salt in a small pot and cook over low heat, whisking frequently, until the butter has melted. Remove from heat.

Sauce the drumsticks after they have been grilling for 30 total minutes. Let finish cooking until the sauce is cooked onto the legs and the internal temperature is 180°f, another 5 minutes for small drumsticks and up to 15 minutes for large ones.

Remove and serve with remaining sauce on the side.
