Preheat the grill for indirect grilling.
Pineapple Habanero Chicken Wings
Strike the perfect balance between sweet and savory with these chicken wings. Tropical with a mild punch of spice, they're the perfect getaway for your tastebuds.
In a large bowl, coat the chicken wings with olive oil. Then, add the paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix until wings are evenly-coated with seasonings.
Cook the wings over indirect heat for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F.
Add all of the Pineapple & Habanero Sauce ingredients except the butter into a blender. Blend until reaching a nice, smooth consistency. Add to a saucepan over medium heat with two tablespoons of butter. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the blended mixture to a saucepan over medium heat with two tablespoons of butter. Simmer for 10 minutes.
When the wings are almost fully cooked, place them in the sauce. Make sure that they are are generously coated. Then, sear over direct heat for 30 seconds per side.
