Directions

Prep: 10 Minutes, Cook: 30 Minutes
1

Preheat one side of the grill to 350°F and the other side to 300°F.

2

Combine ground beef, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt and black pepper in a large bowl. Divide into 6 baseball-size portions. Shape each portion into a ball and flatten into burger patties.

3

Place bacon slices on cooler side of grill. Close lid and cook for 10 minutes per side.

Hot Tip: For crispier bacon, cook on medium-high for 5-6 minutes per side.
4

Place burger patties on hotter side of grill. Cook for 5 minutes per side.

5

Mix ketchup, beer, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and ground celery in a saucepan on the side burner. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

6

Brush burgers with lager BBQ sauce and top with cheese slices. Close lid for 30 seconds to melt cheese. Remove from grill.

7

Place burgers on bottom bun. Top with lettuce, tomato and onion.

I slowly cook my BBQ sauce on the side, until it thickens up. Then when I flip the burgers, I put on the thickened sauce with Sargento’s shredded Taco blend cheese.
Add a slice of red onion and sliced dill pickles. Yummy?
