How to Season a Char-Broil Digital Electric Smoker
Before you use your new smoker, you need to season, or cure, it. Seasoning the smoker prepares it for cooking by burning off any residues left over from the manufacturing process, like machine oils and dust. The overall process takes about two hours, but after that, you won’t have to do it again.
