Commercial™ 4 Burner Gas Grill is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 155.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Company does not stand behind their product Company wont replace the rusted parts under warranty so I had to pay 100 dollars at lowes to replace parts that rusted in 3 months. I bought this grill on May 28th 2016 after deciding to trade up on my 3 year old no name grill, but wound up reaching out the company a few months later regarding the rust covered grates. The company gave me the run around and asked me what I did when I was cooking to cause it to rust. Seriously, worst customer services every. They did not replace the parts that rusted. I kept it seasoned and followed the instruction. I only made hamburgers, hot dogs, and corn on this grill which is under a cover patio. This says commercial but didn't last 3 months of regular use. Just go for the Weber, especially with this customer services.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy if you like Rust I have purchased two charbroil infrared grills. After about two years they both began to rust and you end up having to go buy new grills because the cost of replacing the rusted parts is so expensive it's cheaper to buy a new grill. You're better off buying a more expensive quality grill that will last 5 to 7 years versus this cheap version that only lasts about 3 years. If you buy this grill, know you will be buying another grill in about three years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved Product This new grill was bought after 7 years of heavy use on a previous model. I like this one much better due to the ease of cleaning. I still prefer infrared due to the quick cooking leading to less propane used. Meat is more moist and tender.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the way it cooks, just don't like the rust I’ve owned this grill for 2 years to the month, bought brand new from Lowes, and cook on it every other weekend. The function of the infrared is great and produced some awesome meals. With that said, I’ve had to replace the Emitters due to rusted away (I chalked that up to the amount that I’ve cooked on it and replaced them $60.00) but the bottom of the fire box fell off due to rust the other day. Now I’m looking at having to pay out another $85.00 to continue using this $500 grill

Charbroil model 463242716. Page 12 of the manual - there is a wholly inadequate drawing related to insertion of the cotter pins. What is the function of the brass knobs, and how many 'TURNS' are needed to make the burner tubes most efficient?

Asked by: BillClark71s
We apologize for any difficulties with assembly. The cotter pins will slide into slots in the front and backs of the burners to hold the carryover tubes and the burners in place. To reach the highest setting on your grill we recommend turning the control knob counterclockwise until it is pointing at the flame logo on the bezel. This should be at around 9 o'clock. What is the difference between the Professioal 4 burner and the Commercial 4 burner? I understand rusting may be an issue so is one less apt to rust? Which series is the most durable?

Asked by: Teacher 1
Both of these grills utilize the same BTUs and have porcelain-coated cast iron cooking grates with stainless steel emitters. The main difference between the grills is the slant of the lid and also where each grill is sold. The Commercial Series Grills are exclusive to Lowe's and the Professional Series Grills can be purchased through us. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

Has anyone ever used easy off oven cleaner to clean cooking grates and infrared emitters?  A lot of grease buildup even after taking apart.

Asked by: CharBroil cooker
I have always cleaned our grill with Dawn and hot water. Works great with a scrub brush - rinse with water hose. This grill gets used at least 3 times a week all year long, and it has been under a roof (our outdoor kitchen) I'm thinking we have had it close to 15 years. It's model number 463251605 and I love it. Getting ready to order replacement parts if we can find them.
