This recipe was created by our partner, Brandyn Baker @blackdog_bbq, who made it on the Char-Broil Performance 375 3-Burner Gas Grill but you can make it on your grill or griddle.

Ingredients

For the pizza

  • > cornmeal, as needed
  • 1 pre-rolled pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 package pepperoni
  • 1/2 package basil leaves, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • > olive oil, as needed
  • 1/4 cup hot honey

Directions

Step 1 Of 12
1.
Place a pizza attachment in the grill and preheat to medium-high.
2.
Spread a handful of cornmeal evenly on a baking sheet.
3.
Add the pre-rolled pizza dough to the pan, coating the bottom of the dough with the cornmeal.
4.
Once the grill reaches 425ËšF degrees, place the pizza dough directly on the grill and cook until the dough firms up, about 1 to 2 minutes.
5.
Remove from heat and place the dough back on the baking sheet.
6.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly across the dough.
7.
Top with the mozzarella cheese, basil, and pepperoni, leaving a 1 inch gap between the toppings and the edge of the crust.
8.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and brush the crust with olive oil.
9.
Place directly on the pizza attachment. Cook until the cheese melts and the crust turns golden brown.
10.
Remove from heat.
11.
Slice the pizza and drizzle with hot honey.
12.
Cool for 5 minutes, then serve & enjoy.
