Char-Broil® Patio Bistro® Gas Grill Recall Information
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Char-Broil, LLC is voluntarily recalling certain Char-Broil® Gas Patio Bistro® grills. The electronic ignition on the grill can ignite unexpectedly, posing a burn hazard. This can occur if the burner flame goes out and the consumer turns the control knob to “OFF.” When the control knob passes back through the “Ignition” position, the electronic ignition may activate and unexpectedly ignite the propane that has accumulated in the grill. Char-Broil will send you a free repair kit with a replacement ignition module, instructions for disabling the existing ignition switch and installing the new ignition module.
