Cheesesteak Stuffed Avocados
Cheesesteak stuffed avocados are filled with thinly sliced ribeye steak, sautéed onions and topped with provolone cheese. Coming together for a healthy low carb, gluten-free dinner, they taste amazing. On top of that, they’re easy to make, done in 20 minutes and loaded with flavor.
Ingredients
For the Avocados
- 6 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup olive oil
For the Cheesesteak Filling
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 ounces thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 6 slices provolone cheese
Directions

Preheat your grill to 500°F.

Slice avocados in half, remove pit and brush with olive oil.

Place directly onto grill grate, cut side down. Cook for 2 minutes and remove from grill.

Reduce heat to 350°F.

Heat cast-iron skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Add onions and sauté for 1 minute. Add steak, garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Cook for 5 minutes until steak is browned.

Stuff avocado halves with steak filling and top with provolone cheese.

Place on top warming rack, skin side down. Cook for 10 minutes.

Remove from grill and serve.
