Preheat your grill for indirect grilling.
Place the bacon on the indirect side of your grill and cook for 20 minutes at 300°F.
While the bacon cooks, caramelize the onions with butter in a saucepan until golden brown. Then, add all of the remaining Cherry Cola BBQ Sauce ingredients together and simmer for 10 minutes.
Mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce and form 16 equal patties.
Place the beef patties on the grill over direct heat. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side. When the burgers are close tp being done, place a slice of American cheese on top of each. Close the grill lid for another 30 seconds.
Remove the patties for the grill. Top each slider with caramelized onions in cherry cola BBQ sauce and serve.
