Our Tequila Lime Butter Shrimp is a vibrant one-pan dish that’s quick and easy to make. Juicy, tender shrimp sautéed in a tantalizing buttery sauce with the hard to beat flavor combo of tequila and tangy lime is sure to please all your tastebuds.
We made this dish on our Signature Series™ Amplifire™2-Burner Gas Grill, but you can make it on your grill.
Ingredients
For the shrimp
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons BBQ or seafood seasoning
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 lime, divided
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Directions

Preheat grill to 400°F.

In a medium-size bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil and seasoning. Cover bowl and shake until shrimp is evenly coated.

Place a large cast-iron skillet pan onto hot grill grates and wait for the pan to preheat.

Melt butter in the pan; add shrimp and cook for 3 minutes.
5.
Flip the shrimp; then add tequila and juice from half of the lime.
6.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until your desired doneness.
7.
Scoop shrimp from the pan into a bowl and pour the remaining tequila lime butter sauce over the shrimp.
8.
Garnish with lime slices and cilantro.
