Char-Broil, LLC (“Char-Broil”) is voluntarily recalling, certain Charbroil® Bistro Pro ™ Electric Grills (“Grills”) in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada. Units of the following models that were manufactured between October and December 2025 are being recalled:

Hazard: The grounding wire for the grill’s heating element can disconnect and lose fault protection, posing an electric shock hazard.
Description: This recall involves units of the following Char-Broil Bistro Pro ™ Electric Grill models that were manufactured between October and December 2025:
- Bistro Pro™ Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode (sold in Black, Red);
- Bistro Pro™ Electric Grill + Charcoal Mode (sold in Black and Blackout);
- Bistro Pro™ Tabletop Electric Grill (sold in Black and Red);
- Bistro Pro™ Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode with Cover QVC (sold in Black, Red and Emerald)
- Bistro Pro™ Electric Grill + Charcoal Mode (Canada).
The Grills were designed for use in smaller outdoor spaces (e.g., patios or balconies). Certain recalled models include a griddle insert accessory and/or charcoal grilling functionality. The recall also includes a portable, tabletop model. The “CB” logo appears plate on the front of the lid and “CHARBROIL” is printed on the front control panel.
The product label listing the model and serial number (which includes a manufacturing date code in year and month (YYMM) format), is located on the bottom shelf of full-size grills, and on the side bar of tabletop models. Only Bistro Pro Electric Grills with date codes of 2510 (Oct-2025), 2511 (Nov-2025) and 2512 (Dec-2025) are included in this recall.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled electric grills immediately and contact Char-Broil for a free repair kit. Consumers will be asked to register at www.charbroil.com/BistroProFix to receive repair instructions, a screwdriver, a wrench, screws and a label to affix to the grill after repair. Char-Broil is offering a digital $25 gift card, valid at participating retailers, to consumers who provide photo documentation of the completed repair.

Char‑Broil® Patio Bistro® Gas Grill Recall Information
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Char‑Broil, LLC is voluntarily recalling certain Char‑Broil® Gas Patio Bistro® grills. The electronic ignition on the grill can ignite unexpectedly, posing a burn hazard. This can occur if the burner flame goes out and the consumer turns the control knob to “OFF.” When the control knob passes back through the “Ignition” position, the electronic ignition may activate and unexpectedly ignite the propane that has accumulated in the grill. Char‑Broil will send you a free repair kit with a replacement ignition module, instructions for disabling the existing ignition switch and installing the new ignition module. Description: This recall involves Char‑Broil digital electric smokers with model descriptions Digital Electric Smoker; Digital Electric Smoker w/Window; Digital Electric Smoker, Black w/Window; Digital Electric Smoker, Medallion; Digital Electric Smoker, Connected; and Digital Electric Smoker, XL. These electric smokers were designed and intended only for outdoor use to cook without charcoal. The smokers were sold in black and stainless-steel finishes. The “Char‑Broil” logo plate is on the front of the unit. The product label is located on the outside back of the unit and includes the model and serial numbers and brand information. The UPC code is located on the electric smokers’ packaging.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric smokers and contact Char‑Broil for a free repair kit. The repair kit consists of a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (“GFCI”) plug (also known as a “pigtail”), a clamshell enclosure to secure the GFCI pigtail and a cable clamp. Instructions for installing each of these repair kit items will also be provided.
