Ingredients
FOR THE BURGER
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 4 tablespoons mustard
- 8 slices American cheese
- 4 burger buns
- lettuce
- tomato
- dill pickles
FOR THE SPREAD
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons sweet relish
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar

Preheat grill to 400°F.

Form 8 equal 1/4 pound beef patties and place them on the hot grate. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes.

Before flipping, brush each patty with 1/2 tablespoon of yellow mustard. Flip and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes.

Place a slice of American cheese on top of each patty and close the lid for 30 seconds. Take the burgers off the grill to rest.

While the burgers rest, combine mayo, ketchup, relish, vinegar and sugar in a small bowl.

Spoon spread onto bottom bun. Add a tomato slice, lettuce and 2 beef patties. Top with dill pickles and the top bun.
