Char-Broil® Patio Bistro® Gas Grill Recall Information
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Char-Broil, LLC is voluntarily recalling certain Char-Broil® Gas Patio Bistro® grills. The electronic ignition on the grill can ignite unexpectedly, posing a burn hazard. This can occur if the burner flame goes out and the consumer turns the control knob to “OFF.” When the control knob passes back through the “Ignition” position, the electronic ignition may activate and unexpectedly ignite the propane that has accumulated in the grill. Char-Broil will send you a free repair kit with a replacement ignition module, instructions for disabling the existing ignition switch and installing the new ignition module. Char-Broil Temperature Gauge Recall
Char-Broil Temperature Gauge Recall for specific 2002 & 2003 grill models. Applies to model #'s: 4632210, 4632215, 463221503, 463231503, 4632235, 4632236, 4632240, 4632241 and 4632220.
Original temperature gauge should be replaced with part # P00601181A.

Char-Broil , LLC (“Char-Broil”) is voluntarily recalling certain Char-Broil digital electric smokers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, with the model description and item numbers as follows:

Hazard: The smokers can leak electrical current during use, posing an electric shock hazard.
Description: This recall involves Char-Broil digital electric smokers with model descriptions Digital Electric Smoker; Digital Electric Smoker w/Window; Digital Electric Smoker, Black w/Window; Digital Electric Smoker, Medallion; Digital Electric Smoker, Connected; and Digital Electric Smoker, XL. These electric smokers were designed and intended only for outdoor use to cook without charcoal. The smokers were sold in black and stainless-steel finishes. The “Char-Broil” logo plate is on the front of the unit. The product label is located on the outside back of the unit and includes the model and serial numbers and brand information. The UPC code is located on the electric smokers’ packaging.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric smokers and contact Char-Broil for a free repair kit. The repair kit consists of a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (“GFCI”) plug (also known as a “pigtail”), a clamshell enclosure to secure the GFCI pigtail and a cable clamp. Instructions for installing each of these repair kit items will also be provided.
